I specialize in calming, integrative body work that includes Swedish Massage, Bowenwork, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Myofascial Release with the goal of helping individuals maximize their ability to find ease, comfort and peace within their body. One of my greatest passions is helping people experience an embodied shift into a restful state. My 25 years as a holistic healthcare professional has provided me with a deep understanding of the nervous system and specifically the importance of tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) to enable the body to shift toward positive changes, balance, and healing. My approach is to take the time to listen to your individual needs and create a customized treatment while quelling the nervous system in a safe, inclusive space. I've had extensive training and experience supporting people with: Chronic Pain and/or Fatigue Fibromyalgia Surgical Recovery Migraines Stress and Anxiety I also enjoy working with those who simply wish to incorporate the benefits of deep relaxation into their lives to help maintain a grounded presence. If you are interested in scheduling a Bowenwork session, please mention your interest in the booking comments. When receiving Bowenwork only, please wear comfortable clothing (ie. leggings, shorts, tanktop. No jeans please). You will remain clothed for the session.

Face Massage
I specialize in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy which uses gentle, relationally-focused contact to orient to the wholeness, health and resiliency of your body. This is a contemplative practice of deep listening, stillness, tidal rhythms, spaciousness, and relational attunement. I offer this modality on its own or in combination with Swedish massage, myofascial release, meditation or somatic education. This work may be especially supportive for those with: Chronic Stress Anxiety Sleep Disturbances Traumatic Brain Injuries Emotional and Physical Trauma I use respectful and healing-centered touch to support your therapeutic intentions. The work I do acknowledges that the conditions of our lives, ancestral through preconception and into present time, have an impact on our bodies and our relationships. I believe bodywork is an effective way to touch in with those places of impact while being supported in relationship with another. My approach is grounded in antiracist and queer affirming frameworks; somatic education; presence; and reverent trust in the body’s inherent wisdom and capacity to heal when given space to do so.

McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release
I specialize in Transformation through Relaxation. When we allow our bodies and minds to indulge in relaxation, it opens the door for physical and mental change. It is my passion to help people find a sense of ease and enjoyment in their bodies through deep relaxation treatments. From structural treatment work to general full body sessions, I create customized massage experiences that leave clients with a sense of peacefulness. My style is very slow and primarily utilizes Myofascial Facilitation and Swedish massage techniques to access dysfunctional structures of the body in a gentle way. I also love working with scar tissue and never cease to be in awe of the transformations made possible by this work. McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release is a gentle way to stretch and remodel scar tissue. Scars often affect the body in both obvious and subtle ways. The benefits of this work include: greater freedom of movement, improved range of motion, increased energy, less sensitivity or numbness, scar integration (no longer feels like there is a “spotlight on it”), as well as aesthetic improvement. While I welcome all people to my practice, I particularly enjoy working with people living with issues such as joint stiffness, postural imbalances, anxiety, and insomnia. Please note: Scar massage requires that the wound be completely healed AND at that at least 8 weeks have passed since the original injury/surgery.

Gentle Swedish Massage
Somatic Bodywork
I offer gentle myofascial facilitation and therapeutic massage to help you relieve pain and stress. The slow pace of my work invites your body to let go of unneeded tension in its own timing, so you may feel more ease and rest. I also specialize in Rosen Method Bodywork, which uses gentle touch and verbal dialog to bring non-judgmental awareness to unconscious patterns of tension in your body. This work may help you feel more energy, freedom, and wholeness. It’s a great adjunct to talk therapy. My work may be helpful for these conditions: Chronic pain Stress / Anxiety Depression / Grief CPTSD / Inherited trauma My intention is to create a safe and compassionate trauma-informed space, where all bodies and orientations are welcome. If you’re interested in Rosen Method Bodywork (RMB), please leave a note in your scheduling request. RMB sessions are typically 60 minutes. A detailed intake (15 mins) is required, so there’s less hands-on time the first session. If you prefer 60 minutes of hands-on time during your first RMB session, then schedule 75 minutes.

Beginning 7/1/24, Kaden is embarking on a sabbatical and hopes to return to their Still Point home soon. Hello! I'm Kaden and I love listening to bodies and helping them unwind tension and holding patterns. My approach involves slowing down and taking time to seek the permission of the body and its wisdom. By obtaining the consent of each structure we create an experience of deep relaxation and release. I use the word we here because I see each session as a co-creation between clients and myself. I am committed to offering a trauma informed safe space and I welcome all bodies and all orientations to my table. I believe that inviting changes to the shape of our bodies helps to facilitate the changes that we want to see in our lives. With that idea in mind, I have completed extra training in somatic bodywork. This innovative method blends somatic coaching and the gentle holding of certain points on the body. We will work together to increase your bodily awareness, creating the transformation you wish to see. If somatic bodywork interests you, please leave a note in your scheduling request.
